Presidential candidates with an honest message. Who would you vote for?

2012 is around the corner, and it´s time to choose our president again. These are our candidates, and their best quality is honesty, combining a clear message and, unlike other politicians, making a promise that they will surely be able to keep. Make your vote count, vote for honest candidates. We won´t ask you for donations (that´s how different we are from other candidates); however, if you would like to support us, you can get one of the products at our 2012 Presidential Campaign Store.

2012 Presidential Campaign Stickers Reaching New Heights

While taking a walk in downtown Boston, we discovered that the Hand Critter 2012 Presidential Campaign is starting to appear everywhere. Sometimes in places where you wouldn’t expect, like the top of this pole. Although no one may notice it at that height, it is still a great location. We just hope that the big red ball above is not too distracting.

2012 Presidential Campaign Blimp Mistaken for a UFO

We took the presidential campaign blimp for a spin last night. On the way back to the landing site, our blimp caused a bit of commotion when a few bystanders called the local police to report a UFO sight. We guess having a picture of our candidate on the side of the blimp contributed to the confusion. We are working with the individuals involved to provide counseling.

Honest Candidates in Seattle for their 2012 Presidential Campaign

Our 2012 Presidential Campaign finally reached the West Coast when the Hand Raccoon’s blimp visited Seattle.

The flight around the Space Needle was greeted with excitement and surprise by visitors to Seattle’s main tourist attraction and by neighbors nearby.

Presidential Campaign Blimp vs. Space Needle

The biggest accomplishment of the day was for the blimp to avoid being pierced by the Needle, which our pilot managed quite skillfully.

Interview with 2012 Presidential Candidate Hand Shark (part 2)

This is an ongoing interview; unfortunately, due to the candidate’s availability, schedule and habitat, we need to deliver this interview in several parts. Here you can read the first part of the interview.

What makes you a better candidate?

Well, my colleagues and I are not saying that we are better or worse than other candidates. We are just saying that we are honest.

What makes you an honest presidential candidate?

I say what I think, I offer you truth. Everybody knows that candidates lie to get votes. Through the whole election process candidates change their positions on the issues that their electorate cares about. They follow polls, and they “adjust” their words to please most of their target voters. I don’t do that, I am a shark. I can say what I really think and make a promise that I will keep for sure. That’s what makes me honest. And that’s how I believe that politicians should be. By the way, you are looking particularly delicious today. ;)

Ah… thank you? Do you think that people would vote for a shark?

Well, some people vote for donkeys, others vote for elephants, and now you can even vote for tea bags. How are those choices better than sharks? I believe that we should hear what ALL the candidates offer, figure out if they are being honest, and make the best choice.

With president Obama’s birth certificate still warm, aren’t you worried that someone will question that you were born in the U.S.?

Well, some people will try it. I mean, it is very easy to see that some people will not be comfortable with how different I look, you know, the fins and the teeth. I was born one mile out from the coast. That is the U.S. as far as I know. Anyway, we should be concerned about other important matters, like the diminishing of surfing on our beaches. That is a very serious matter. Many shark families are starving even as we are having this conversation.

What changes will you make to the White House, if you are elected?

I would get rid of the basketball court and build a huge aquarium.

This is the second installment of our interview with the Honest Candidate Hand Shark for the 2012 presidential elections. If you have any questions for our candidate, please add them in a comment.
